Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a written exam, physical efficiency test, document verification, medical test, and interview.
Written Exam
The written exam will have two stages, a preliminary exam and a main exam.
Preliminary exam
It will have 100 questions carrying 200 marks, and the time allotted for this will be 2 hours. 0.2 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. In the preliminary exam, questions related to general knowledge and current affairs will be asked.
Main exam
There will be a total of two papers in it, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will have 100 questions related to general knowledge. In Paper 2, questions related to General Studies, Civics, Maths and Mental Ability, Geography of India, and Indian History will be asked. This paper will also be of 200 marks, and 0.2 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Physical Test
In this, men have to march 25 km on foot in 4 hours, while women have to march 14 km on foot in 4 hours.
Document Verification
In document verification, the candidate has to take their educational documents and other certificates.
Medical Test
In this phase, some physical tests are conducted on the candidate to find out whether the candidate is completely healthy or not.
Interview
Subject knowledge, behaviour, leadership ability and social awareness are evaluated. The interview is of 30 marks, and finally, a merit list is prepared.
